Millions of dollars have been diverted away from our schools, mental health fund and libraries. It's up to voters to hold City Hall accountable.
WHO WE ARE

United in our Goals for Economic Development Reform
These organizations are uniting together to create accountability in Kansas City Missouri's Tax Increment Financing Commission in order to provide support to our taxing jurisdictions.
The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.
The Mission of the Urban Summit is advocacy and to develop initiatives to foster community relations, enhance economic growth and improve the quality of life in the Urban Core.
AFT MISSOURI #691
The American Federation of Teachers is a union of professionals that champions fairness; democracy; economic opportunity; and high-quality public education, healthcare and public services for our students, their families and our communities. We are committed to advancing these principles through community engagement, organizing, collective bargaining and political activism, and especially through the work our members do.
MORE2 was created in late 2004 as an interfaith social justice organization reflecting different cultural backgrounds, faith traditions, skin colors and economic means. We are united in our commitment to transforming our communities by creating a metropolitan area that embraces all people and offers everyone the opportunity to achieve their greatest potential.
WHO WE SUPPORT
Voters like YOU and our Taxing Jurisdictions
These are the voter's taxing jurisdictions that are impacted by Tax Increment Financing and other abatements which take tax payers' money away and diverts it into development projects in Kansas City, Missouri.
KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
The purpose of Kansas City Public Schools (KCPS) is to provide a quality education that prepares all of our students, regardless of background or circumstances, for success in college, career and life. We will produce scholars who are high-achieving critical thinkers, prepared to succeed in a constantly changing world and engaged in the improving of their communities. KCPS will accomplish this goal by providing teachers with the appropriate training, resources and support they need to develop the whole child.
THE JACKSON COUNTY COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH FUND
The mission of the Community Mental Health Fund is to support a network of mental health services for persons with chronic mental illness that are locally accessible and responsive to the varied and unique service needs of Jackson County Missouri residents.
